Staying in Palmanova and want to get on a jet ski? We don't operate off Palmanova beach itself - but our two marina bases sit just minutes away on either side of the resort. Portals Nous is a few minutes east, Port Adriano a few minutes west, and both run dealer-maintained Sea-Doo rentals with no licence needed, plus guided tours along the southwest coast.

Palmanova: great beaches, better water next door

Palmanova's three sandy beaches are the reason people stay here - calm, family-friendly and busy all summer. Seasonal beach operators come and go along this strip; check terms and equipment on the day if you ride from the sand.

For a proper ride, though, the marinas either side of the resort are the smarter start point. You launch from a dock rather than a swim zone, ride a current-generation machine rather than a hire-fleet veteran, and head straight out onto open coastline.

Two bases, both minutes from Palmanova

  • Portals Nous - our original shop, beside the entrance to Puerto Portals marina, a few minutes' drive east towards Palma
  • Port Adriano - in the Philippe Starck-designed marina beneath El Toro, a few minutes west past Magaluf

Nauti Parts has run this coastline since 1995 and is Mallorca's only authorised Sea-Doo dealer - the rental fleet is maintained in our own factory-trained service centre to the same standard as the skis we sell.

The essentials: no licence needed; full safety briefing, riding-zone map, life jackets and all gear included; hourly, half-day and full-day rentals; group rates for multi-ski bookings. Contact us for current rates - and book 48 hours ahead in peak season (June to September).

Tours along the coast Palmanova looks out on

The bay you see from your hotel is just the start. Guided tours from Portals Nous and Port Adriano take you past El Toro and Cap de Cala Figuera, into turquoise coves with swim stops along the way. The coastal discovery tour runs about 1.5-2 hours, the half-day adventure goes further up the coast, and private tours can be built around your group. All levels welcome - your guide sets the pace, and two riders can share a ski.

Make it a full water day

Palmanova's position between the two marinas makes mixing and matching easy. A popular shape for the day: morning jet ski rental or tour while the sea is calm, lunch at the marina, then an afternoon Seabob session - the electric water sled from the official Balearics Seabob centre glides above or below the surface at up to 22 km/h, and beginners pick it up in minutes. SUPs, water skis and wakeboards are in the fleet too, so mixed-ability groups and families all get their version of the water. Bring swimwear, sunscreen and a towel; life jackets and safety gear are provided, with waterproof storage available for phones.

For Palmanova residents: buy, service, store

If you live here year-round, you're a short drive from the island's only authorised Sea-Doo dealer. The full new Sea-Doo range and dealer-checked pre-owned skis are on offer at our Santa Ponsa showroom, with financing through Santander, and our service centre handles servicing, storage and winterisation with island-wide collection and delivery.

Common questions

Do I need a licence to jet ski near Palmanova?

Not with our rental fleet - no licence needed, and every rental starts with a full safety briefing. Owning your own ski is different: Spanish regulations require a qualification, and we can point you to local course providers.

How do I get from Palmanova to your bases?

Both Portals Nous and Port Adriano are a few minutes by taxi or car - either makes an easy half-day trip with lunch at the marina afterwards.

Can two people ride together?

Yes - most of the fleet takes two riders, and on tours you can swap along the way.

When should I book?

In peak season (June to September), at least 48 hours ahead - the fleet books out quickly. Spring and autumn are easier, and often calmer on the water. You can book online or by phone; the team speaks English, Spanish and German.
