Let's be straight: we don't run jet ski hire off Magaluf beach. What we offer is ten minutes up the road - dealer-grade Sea-Doo rentals and guided coastal tours from Port Adriano and Portals Nous, run by Mallorca's only authorised Sea-Doo dealer. If you're staying in Magaluf and want more than a quick blast in a roped-off zone, this guide is for you.
Jet skiing from Magaluf beach
Magaluf's beachfront has seasonal watersports operators, and a short spin from the sand suits plenty of visitors - check each operator's terms, briefing and gear on the day. It's convenient, and for ten minutes of splash it does the job.
The trade-off is the setting: a busy swimming beach with marked zones and a lot going on. If what you actually want is open water, coves and a machine that pulls properly, the marina option a few minutes away is a different experience altogether.
The alternative: dealer-grade skis, 10 minutes away
Our shops at Port Adriano - the Philippe Starck-designed marina just around the El Toro headland - and Portals Nous are both a roughly ten-minute drive from Magaluf. The difference is the machinery and the water:
- Current-generation Sea-Doo fleet, maintained by our own factory-trained service centre - the same standard we sell to owners
- No licence needed - full safety briefing, riding-zone map, life jackets and all gear included
- Hourly, half-day and full-day rentals, with group rates for multi-ski bookings
- Open coastline, not a swim-zone corridor
Prices: contact us for current rates. In peak season (June to September) book at least 48 hours ahead.
Coastal tours past El Toro
The best day on the water from Magaluf is a guided tour. From Port Adriano you're straight onto the dramatic southwest coast - carving past El Toro and Cap de Cala Figuera with swim stops in turquoise bays. The classic coastal discovery runs about 1.5-2 hours; half-day adventures go further; and private group tours suit birthdays, corporate days and stag or hen groups who want their own guide. No experience needed, and two can share a ski.
Planning your ride from Magaluf
A little planning makes the difference between a good session and a great one. Morning slots usually mean the calmest sea; afternoons pick up a touch more breeze. Wear your swimwear there and bring sunscreen, a towel and dry clothes - we provide life jackets and all safety gear, and waterproof storage is available for phones. Groups are welcome: multi-ski bookings and private tours work well for stag and hen parties who want a proper activity rather than another beach bar, and our team (English, Spanish and German) can build timings around your day. If anyone in the group would rather skip the throttle, Seabob rentals from the same bases are the easy alternative - most riders are away in minutes.
Living near Magaluf? Buy or service here
Magaluf and Calvià residents are some of our longest-standing customers. Nauti Parts has been on this coast since 1995, and as the island's only authorised Sea-Doo dealer we stock the full new range and dealer-checked pre-owned skis, with financing through Santander. Our service centre in nearby Santa Ponsa handles servicing, repairs, storage and winterisation - with collection and delivery across the island.
Common questions
Is there jet ski hire on Magaluf beach itself?
In season, yes - independent beach operators run short sessions from the sand. We're not one of them: our rentals run from the marinas at Port Adriano and Portals Nous, about ten minutes away, on dealer-maintained Sea-Doos.
Do I need a licence to rent with you?
No - our rental fleet needs no licence, and every rider gets a full safety briefing first.
How do I get to Port Adriano from Magaluf?
It's a short taxi or drive - around ten minutes. There's parking at the marina, and plenty of visitors make a day of it with lunch at Port Adriano after their ride.
Can a group book several jet skis together?
Yes - multi-ski bookings are our bread and butter in summer, and group rates are available. For bigger parties a private guided tour usually works better than a straight rental: everyone rides, the guide handles the route, and nobody gets lost.
