First, the honest bit: Nauti Parts is based in southwest Mallorca - Portals Nous, Port Adriano and Santa Ponsa - roughly an hour's drive from Alcudia, and we don't run rentals from the north. This guide covers what's genuinely useful to know about jet skiing in the Alcudia area, and why riders and owners across the whole island still deal with us for buying, servicing and pre-owned stock.

Jet skiing in the Alcudia area

The Bay of Alcudia is one of Mallorca's biggest stretches of sheltered water - a long, gently shelving sweep shared with Playa de Muro and Can Picafort. That makes it popular for watersports of every kind, and in season you'll find local hire operators working from the beaches and the port area. A few pointers, whoever you ride with:

  • Check the briefing. A proper operator walks you through controls, the riding zone and the rules before you start - not just a waiver on a clipboard.
  • Look at the machines. Age and condition of the fleet tell you a lot about the maintenance behind it.
  • Ask what's included. Life jackets and safety gear should never be an extra.
  • Respect the swim zones. The bay is busy with swimmers and small craft in summer; marked channels exist for a reason.

If your holiday takes in both ends of the island, our own rental fleet and guided coastal tours run from the southwest - dealer-maintained, current-generation Sea-Doos, no licence needed.

Buying a jet ski when you're based in the north

This is where geography stops mattering. Nauti Parts is the only authorised Sea-Doo dealer on Mallorca - there isn't a closer official option in Alcudia, Pollensa or anywhere else on the island, because we're it. Owners from the north buy from us the same way owners in Calvià do:

  • The full 2026 Sea-Doo range, from the Spark at 11,595€ inc IVA to the GTX Limited at 30,795€
  • Dealer-checked pre-owned watercraft - stock rotates, and the right used ski is worth the drive every time
  • Financing through Santander, and a team that speaks English, Spanish and German

One showroom visit to Santa Ponsa covers what would otherwise be weeks of scanning classifieds.

Combining a north-coast stay with a proper ride

Plenty of Alcudia-based visitors split the difference: beach sessions in the bay for the family, then one cross-island day for the real ride. From our marina bases at Portals Nous and Port Adriano the guided tours run the dramatic southwest coast - past El Toro and Cap de Cala Figuera, with swim stops in cliff-backed turquoise coves - on current-generation, dealer-maintained Sea-Doos. The drive is roughly an hour, the tours run 1.5-2 hours up to half a day, and no licence or experience is needed. Pair it with lunch at Puerto Portals or Port Adriano and it's a full day out rather than a detour. In peak season (June to September), book at least 48 hours ahead.

Service without the drive: island-wide collection

The part northern owners appreciate most: you usually don't have to come to us at all. Our factory-trained service centre collects and delivers across the whole island - Alcudia and the north included - and that covers servicing, repairs, genuine Sea-Doo parts, storage and winterisation. Keeping a ski in Alcudia and keeping it on dealer servicing are entirely compatible.

Common questions

Is there jet ski hire in Alcudia itself?

Yes - seasonal operators work from the beaches around the bay in summer. We're not one of them; our bases are in the southwest. Judge any operator on their briefing, their gear and the state of their fleet.

Do I need a licence to jet ski in Alcudia?

Rental rules depend on the operator and the craft, so check when you book - our own rental fleet in the southwest needs no licence. To own and ride your own ski, Spanish regulations require a qualification; we'll point you to local course providers.

I own a jet ski near Alcudia - can you service it?

Yes. Island-wide collection and delivery is standard, including crane pickup from yachts. Book a slot and we'll handle the logistics.
