Ergonomics and rider tech. Sea-Doo's Ergolock seating is designed to let you grip the machine with your legs rather than hang on with your arms, which makes aggressive cornering less tiring. Higher-spec models add touring seats, variable trim and Bluetooth audio. It's a line-up built around how the ride feels, not just what the engine makes.

Where Yamaha deserves real credit
Yamaha's four-stroke marine engines have earned a deserved reputation for longevity, and WaveRunners hold their value well. The RiDE system gives Yamaha riders genuinely good low-speed control too - this isn't a one-sided contest on the water. Yamaha's hulls are stable and predictable, and its simpler trim levels appeal to riders who want fewer electronics between them and the water. These are real strengths, and honest dealers on either side of the fence will admit it.
The part the spec sheets never mention: support on an island
Here's the reality of owning a watercraft on Mallorca. Machines live hard lives in salt water. They need genuine parts, factory-trained technicians, warranty support, winterisation and somewhere to live in the off-season. When something fails in July, the difference between a two-day fix and a six-week wait for parts is the difference between a summer and no summer.

The machine matters less than who stands behind it. Sea-Doo and Yamaha both build watercraft you could love. That, more than iBR or any spec, is why we'd point an island buyer to Sea-Doo.
